General questions
How can I book?
You can book your spring, summer or fall vacation in Kaprun directly via our booking platform.
A winter vacation can currently only be booked through our partner Sunweb. So if you would like to come to us between December and April, you can book your stay via the Sunweb booking portal.
How can I change / cancel my booking?
If you have booked your active vacation directly with us, you can change or cancel your booking via our booking platform (please note the applicable cancellation conditions). Simply log in with your booking number & e-mail address.
A winter vacation in our hotel in Kaprun can currently only be booked through our partner Sunweb. Changes or cancelations can therefore only be made directly via Sunweb.

When is check-in?
Check-in is possible from 15:00 to 22:00. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to leave your luggage at reception.
Are there parking spaces?
The hotel has parking spaces in front of the building and an indoor parking garage. For €8 per day, you can park conveniently in an outdoor spot right outside the door—or for €12 per day, you can park in the weather-protected garage.
Can I arrive after 10 pm?
If you arrive after 10 pm, please contact reception in advance by telephone. Your key will then be left for you in a key safe at the night entrance.

Which catering can I choose?
When you book your room, you can choose between breakfast and all-inclusive.
If you opt for an all-inclusive vacation in Kaprun, breakfast at our buffet, a lunch snack, coffee & cake in the afternoon, dinner and selected non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are already included.
When is the restaurant open?
Here is an overview of all the times:
- Breakfast: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
- Lunch: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. (during the summer season, by reservation)
- Cake: 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Dinner: 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

What time is the wellness area open?
Our relaxation area for your wellness vacation in Kaprun is open daily for you: the indoor pool from 7 am to 9 pm and our sauna area from 3 pm to 9 pm.
Can I bring my dog with me?
Yes, dogs are welcome at our hotel in Kaprun! The dog costs 15 € per day.
Is there a room where I can store my skis?
In our hotel there is a heated ski room with boot dryers for a pleasantly warm skiing experience.
I am allergic to certain foods, can I get adapted dishes?
If you have a food intolerance, please let us know when you book or before you arrive so that we can prepare for your stay in the best possible way.
Is there an area for smoking?
You can smoke in front of the hotel.

Are there accessible rooms?
Unfortunately, our hotel does not meet the standards of a barrier-free hotel.
Why does the room cost different amounts on some days?
We work with flexible prices that adapt to the seasons and capacity utilization.
Is it possible to book a twin or a double bed?
In various room categories it is possible to add an extra bed or baby crib to the room.
Do I need to bring my own hairdryer, bath towels, soap and shampoo?
In our rooms, hairdryer, bath towel, hand soap and shampoo & shower gel are part of the basic equipment.
Can I book a room upgrade at check-in?
Depending on availability, it is possible to book a room upgrade at check-in.
Is it possible to book a single or double bed?
In some of our rooms, the double beds can be separated into two single beds to form a twin bed. Please indicate this request directlywhen making your booking.
Can I borrow a bathrobe?
You can borrow a bathrobe directly from reception for a fee.
Your advantage with a direct booking: You will receive a bathrobe (against a deposit) free of charge for the duration of your stay.
Can I drink the tap water in the room?
The tap water in our hotel in the Alps is of a particularly high quality. This is because the tap water comes from springs with particularly pure water.

Questions about the region
How high is the local tax?
In Kaprun, the local tax is €2.55 per person per day. This consists of the overnight stay tax, the tourism promotion fund, and the mobility tax (Guest Mobility Card). Children under the age of 15 are exempt from this tax. With the included Guest Mobility Card, you can use public transportation throughout the Salzburg region free of charge—even on the day of arrival and departure.
